Poland and Argentina squared off in the group stage of the 022 FIFA World Cup. The first half belonged to Wojciech Szczęsny who stopped multiple shots on goal including a penalty kick try by Lionel Messi. Argentina was able to get on the board right after halftime, as Alexis Mac All-star scored in the 46th minute. Argentina would strike again in the 67th minute as Julian Alvarez scored to make it 2-0. Argentina would continue its attack and had more shots on goal.
